Highlight of the day : I bought 1,000 Places To See  Before You Die for only 50 pesos!! ♥

I’ve always wanted this book and now it’s finally mine huhuhu omg :’( My mom even glared at me when she heard me squeal while holding this piece of happiness. She thinks some people might have thought that her daughter’s crazy but I don’t care; I have the book, duh! :)))

Despite the fact that the book is slightly damaged, I didn’t think twice when I saw it because I know I can just “restore” it at home. Yay! Hihihi :”>

 Ugh! The feels :”>

Despite the fact that I haven’t been posting much about books lately, it’s not true that I don’t read anymore. That’s actually far from possible, hahaha! :))) To make up for my loss, here’s a list of some of the books on my “to-read”. Hihihi :”>

  1.  Go Ask Alice by Anonymous (Beatrice Sparks) - After you’ve had it, there isn’t even life without drugs….It started when she was served a soft drink laced with LSD in a dangerous party game. Within months, she was hooked, trapped in a downward spiral that took her from her comfortable home and loving family to the mean streets of an unforgiving city. It was a journey that would rob her of her innocence, her youth — and ultimately her life. Read her diary. Enter her world. You will never forget her.
  2. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith - Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything? Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan’s life. Having missed her flight, she’s stuck at JFK airport and late to her father’s second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon-to-be stepmother Hadley’s never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport’s cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he’s British, and he’s sitting in her row. A long night on the plane passes in the blink of an eye, and Hadley and Oliver lose track of each other in the airport chaos upon arrival. Can fate intervene to bring them together once more?
  3. Unbreak My Heart by Melissa C. Walker - Sophomore year broke Clementine Williams’ heart. She fell for her best friend’s boyfriend and long story short: he’s excused, but Clem is vilified and she heads into summer with zero social life. Enter her parents’ plan to spend the summer on their sailboat. Normally the idea of being stuck on a tiny boat with her parents and little sister would make Clem break out in hives, but floating away sounds pretty good right now. Then she meets James at one of their first stops along the river. He and his dad are sailing for the summer and he’s just the distraction Clem needs. Can he break down Clem’s walls and heal her broken heart?

Lately, I haven’t really gotten time to read and I promised my self to make up for it this sembreak. Well, if my wallet permits, of course. :) These are the books which are on my to-read. Warning!!! For the bibliophiles out there, long but interesting post ahead. Hihi :”>
  • If I Stay by Gayle Forman - Seventeen year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces- to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make.
  • My Name Is Memory by Ann Brashares - Daniel has spent centuries falling in love with the same girl. Life after life, crossing continents and dynasties, he and Sophia (despite her changing name and form) have been drawn together-and he remembers it all. Daniel has “the memory”, the ability to recall past lives and recognize souls of those he’s previously known. It is a gift and a curse. For all the times that he and Sophia have been drawn together throughout history, they have also been torn painfully, fatally, apart. A love always too short.
  • Paper Towns by John Green - Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life - dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge - he follows. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer Q gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew.
